While we strive to build a defect-free home we understand that with repeated use, an item in the home may fail to perform as it should. When this occurs, we will make necessary corrections so the item meets our warranty guidelines. In support of this commitment, Compendium Group LLC provides you with a limited warranty.
At Compendium Group LLC , your satisfaction is important to us. If you need additional information, details on anything in this manual, or have a question on a topic that isn’t addressed, please feel free to ask. Open and honest communication is critical to a successful relationship while building your home.
What qualifies as warranty repair?
Our criteria for qualifying warranty repairs are based on typical industry practices in our region and meet or exceed those practices. Please note that we reserve the right, at our discretion, to exceed these guidelines if common sense or individual circumstances make that appropriate, without being obligated to exceed all guidelines to a similar degree or for other homeowners whose circumstances are different.
Please note that with a product as complex as a home, different viewpoints regarding homeowner maintenance responsibilities versus Compendium Group LLC warranty responsibilities are possible. If you request warranty service on a maintenance item, we will explain to you the steps you should take to care for the item. We are available to answer your home-care questions during and after your warranty period, however, providing normal maintenance for your home is your job.
How to submit a warranty request.
Please remember that all warranty service requests must be made in writing. It is most convenient to use the BuilderTrend app and submit the warranty claim through that software. By doing so we are certain to have all the required information, monitor the claim and schedule follow up. However, if you choose to simply email in the request, please include:
- Your name, address, and the phone numbers where you can be reached during business hours.
- A complete description of the problem, for example, “guest bath—cold water line leaks under sink,” rather than “plumbing problem.”
- Information about your availability or the best days or times to reach you.
