A completely custom home in Cottage Home
Our first blog-featured home comes from the historic Cottage Home Neighborhood in Indianapolis. Cottage Home is an IHPC (Indianapolis Historic Preservation Commission) controlled neighborhood so our process for this home was a bit different than your ‘typical’ build but the final product fits right in and our clients are pretty happy to be home.
Because this neighborhood has historically contained cottage-styled homes, we worked with Demerly Architects to pre-design this home in that style. We handled all aspects of the IHPC approval process (as we always do) to make it as easy on our clients as possible to create the home they wanted in the neighborhood they adored. The final result was a cottage home exterior with industrial interior finishes, approved by the IHPC board and Cottage Home neighborhood.
